Instructions for Authors

Before submitting your manuscript, please go through the following checklist:

  • The manuscript is original, within the scope of this journal and in accordance with the journal's publication policy.
  • The manuscript has not been published elsewhere.
  • The manuscript has strictly followed the format provided in the journal's template named “Article Template”.
  • I have checked my article for correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • I have avoided research misconduct (such as plagiarism, fabrication of data, inappropriate claims of authorship, etc.)
  • I agree with the journal's open access policy.

1. General Guidelines

  • Language: Manuscripts must be submitted in English.
  • Length: 3,000–6,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt.
  • File Format: Submit as a Microsoft Word .doc file (not PDF).
  • Style Guide: Use APA 7th edition citation and referencing style. APA Style Guide
  • Originality: Submissions must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

2. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Max 250 words, 12pt Times New Roman.
  • Keywords: Five keywords, lowercase, separated by commas. No final period.

3. Title Page

  • Running Header: All caps, max 50 characters (spaces included).
  • Title: Title Case – capitalize all words except articles, prepositions, and conjunctions with three or fewer letters. All headings in the paper should follow this rule.
  • Include ORCID numbers, any current affiliation changes, funding, acknowledgments, conflicts of interest, event presentation details, and the corresponding author's full contact information.

4. Main Text

  • Headings: Capitalize all words with no capitals on articles, prepositions, and conjunctions of four or less characters. Numerate the different levels of headings (e.g., 1.; 1.1.; 1.1.1.)
  • Figures and Tables: Should be in editable format, numbered, with titles above the table. If the figure has a note - it comes after the table and should include the source (if any). In case there is no note, the source is part of the title caption (Author, Year).
  • Footnotes:Minimize footnotes, using them for additional information or clarification, not citations.
  • Alphabet: Use only the Latin alphabet and avoid letters from other writing systems (e.g., Cyrillic, Arabic, Greek, Turkish) in the manuscript text.

5. Citations and References

  • In-text Citations:
    • (Author, Year), (Author & Author, Year), or (Author et al., Year)
    • For direct quotes: (Author, Year, p. 12) or (pp. 12–14)
    • Use & only in parentheses; otherwise write and
  • Reference List:
    • Alphabetical by author, then chronological.
    • The list of References shall only include works that are cited in the text and vice versa
